Aluminium or Aluminum

The term "aluminum" and "aluminium" refer to the same chemical element (with the symbol Al and atomic number 13). The primary difference lies in the spelling, which varies between American English and British English.

In American English, the word is spelled "aluminum." This spelling was standardized by the American Chemical Society in 1925.

In British English and in many other countries that use British English spelling conventions, the word is spelled "aluminium." This spelling was first proposed by the British chemist Sir Humphry Davy in the early 19th century. The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) officially adopted "aluminium" as the standard international name for the element.
