The Bosch Mitre Saw Aluminium Profile Cutting machine is not bad, but has really security disadvantages. Don't be fooled by the word professional it's just a sales ploy.
No oiling available by aluminium cutting processes, means the sawblade will go unsharper in a shorter time. Dangerous situations can happen by using a unsharped saw blade during the cutting process of hard material like aluminium profiles. It is a cheap solution and you only get that kind of quality and security for so much money. It is recommended to use a oil cooling lubricate spray for the sawblade for better cutting results and it is recommended to use two vertical and two horizontal clamps to hold the profile in a stabile way on the machine table during the cutting process of a sawblade which turns with 4800 RPM. Hereby it is also used to cut aluminium profiles with lower RPM, you need to cut aluminium arround 260 RPM, so the machine is used more for plastic profiles like upvc not special for aluminium. The 254 mm sawblade diameter allows you to cut small profiles. In contrast to Makitah, Bosch has a half complete protective cap for the saw blade, which offers not more safety for the user.
