General

● The powerful 7.5 KW motor and automatic tool changer with 12 locating
points allow a high level of flexibility when working.
● The work areas of the machine can be further sub-divided into two areas.
This allows the profile preparation to be carried out in one area of the
machine, whilst in the other area, loading of the machine is taking place
(alternating operation).
● The AF 450 is highly efficient due to 3-side processing and pre-head
processing (notching).

● By using absolute axis position-measuring systems, there is no need for
the main axes to be referenced after switching on the machine.
● The SchüCam control software uses data from the SchüCal software 1:1,
thereby keeping to a minimum the time required from the first drawing to
clamping the work piece.
● Individually operated clamps permit simultaneous processing and
therefore reduce the set-up time to a minimum.
● The locating edge of the profiles is shifted forwards, making it easier to
insert the profiles. The insertion position remains at the front, regardless of
the profile size.
● The lengths of profiles that have already been cut can be measured using
a profile length measuring device (optional) on the machine.
● The tool magazine is a moving pick-up device that allows quick, program-
controlled changing of 12 tools in total.
