TOOLIOM 250A Aluminum MIG Welder
Another multi-welding type tool, this TOOLIOM offers you gas MIG, Flux MIG, stick, and lift TIG welding. This nifty little welder is great for welding aluminum and is compatible with a spool gun or MIG torch with a graphite wire feed tube.
It’s a great choice for novices and professionals alike, easy to carry around, and doesn’t have any unique or exotic parts that you’ll find difficult to replace. It sets up in no time and is straightforward and intuitive to use.
While it isn’t solid enough to throw around without a care, the results it gives are. This little machine lays in fillets and amazingly the occasional gap (even with galvanizing). Having a “hot-start” plasma and multiprocess welder for under 1K is rare, especially one that works so well.
It comes with excellent 10ft cables, a grounding clamp, and comes with a wide range of settings (like voltages) that you can control manually or automatically in order to time your welding easily. The ground clamp and stinger are adequate, but don’t expect they will be great for your price.
The TOOLIOM welder is big enough to handle 2 pounds of D100 wire and 10 pounds of D200. It can be used with various welding wire, .040″ solid/flux/aluminum wire,035″ solid/flux wire,030″solid/flux wire,024″ solid wire. It’s also got a dual voltage input design as the welding machine can be plugged into 110/220V dual voltage.
